The Journey So Far

"Check on your Mate" has been created to have an awareness to the growing number of self harming incidences and the regrettable fatalities. They happen at alarming rates around Australia and the world. "CHECK on your MATE" has a simple message, contacting or checking in on a friend, a companion, a brother, a sister, a parent, a son, a daughter, anyone we think we could help through these current times and with this simple action, may save a life.

My name is Graeme Stuckings, business owner, father of two, self published author of "Loneliness in the pocket", developer of the app Men Well Being (MWB) and founder of the slogan "CHECK on your MATE". Understanding the mental, physical and emotional needs of individuals can be daunting and I am not an expert in this field. However I am aware of the simplicity in caring for all, and having a love of life.  A love of self has to be a main priority, this can have an amazing impact on ones life. I have a plan to help people both men and women, to have a clearer purpose to their own wellbeing and awareness to believing that it is great to be alive.

We may face struggles throughout our lives, knowing that pain can be  inevitable, but misery is optional, is a well thought out analogy. Loving and accepting your life with all the lows and highs. We all still have to get up in the morning, put our pants on, one leg at a time, just like everyone else, have breakfast, have to work, have to exercise, have to contend with everyday struggles, but we have a choice. We can choose to live in misery or live our life with love and joy in your heart. Because it all starts from your heart, and ends with your heart.

Ultimately it starts with YOU.

It's great to be alive.
